"Water is life, and clean water means health."

Audrey Hepburn

Wells For Haiti

Haiti is recognized as the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere. Poverty impacts many facets of daily life for Haitians, including housing, nutrition, education, healthcare, and infant mortality rates, alongside environmental. The country has long struggled with poor living conditions, and food insecurity and hunger are persistent issues.

While agriculture plays a significant role in the economy, Haiti does not grow enough food or livestock to sustain its population, relying on imports for 60% of its food, including up to 80% of rice. The overall poverty rate stands at 77%, with rural areas, which house 52% of the population, experiencing 88% poverty and 67% extreme poverty, leaving many to live from meal to meal with little hope or joy.

Project Hope is dedicated to serving the people of Haiti by providing essential donations of goods and distributing food to those living in poverty. With these generous contributions, we aspire to touch the lives of many more Haitian citizens rekindling their hope for a brighter future.

In addition to our efforts, the Gemini Foundation has made significant strides by successfully constructing two water wells in Haiti, further enhancing access to vital resources for the community. Together, we strive to make a lasting impact and uplift the lives those in need.
